|ANNUAL MEETING FGPA 2007 / Caracas/Valencia The Annual Meeting 2007 of the FGPA was carried out in Venezuela, having as sites the cities of Caracas and Valencia. The Assembly was integrated by representatives of: Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, the United States, Mexico, Peru, Dominican Republic and Venezuela. The delegates of the Federation of Green Parties of Europe and of the Green Global Coordination attended as observers.
FIRST INTER-PARLIAMENTARY REUNION OF THE AMERICAS
/ Mexico City 2007 The Green representatives of the countries of Argentina, Brazil,
Venezuela and Mexico, participants in the First Green Inter-Parliamentary Reunion of the Americas, celebrated in Mexico City, Federal District, 15 and 16 of August 2007, in the Legislative Enclosure of the Legislative Assembly of the Federal District, we

ECOLOGICAL AGREEMENT/ 2006 The warning voices of the Green Parties
and of the environmentalist ONG's of the world, have been supported
by reliable scientific research demonstrating that the uncontrolled
hydrocarbon consumption, along with the accelerated global destruction
of forest ecosystems, have caused the global warming with severe climatic
consequences expressed in more serious and frequent disasters such as
great hurricanes, extreme temperatures, glacier melting , massive floods
and atypical droughts ....

IN IQUITOS, PERU /October 12 th to 14th 2005
Iquitos, the Peruvian city considered the gateway to the Amazons, was
the setting for the announcement of the Global Ecological Agreement
destined to achieve a United Nations sponsored world meeting in order
to establish a mechanism similar to the Kyoto Protocol for the protection
of the tropical forests of the planet ....
ON THE AMAZON RIVER/October 2005 Within the framework of the Annual
Meeting of the Federation of Green Parties of the Americas, that took
place in Iquitos, Peru, from October 12 to 15 2005, representatives
of the Green Parties, made a journey through the mazon River to evaluate
the present critical situation of this important reservoir of water
of the planet....

Parties of America with a minute of silence remembering Ingrid Betancourt....
DECLARATION(july19, 1998) Genetic Engineering took place St Louis,
USA. This conference was hosted by the gateway Green Alliance party,
the Pure food Campaign and the Edmonds Institute. The Declaration was
presented at the panel on Global Organizing for Citizen empowerment,
and was adopted in principle in the final plenary on July 19. The Declaration
was formed throughout the Conference as a compilation of concerns expressed
and statements of action proposed by the participants at the conference.
It is not the final version and needs to be organized, edited and is
being circulated for further clarification and strengthening.
